Superficial vein disease is a lifestyle condition and a relatively non-harmful disease that can be treated. More prevalent in females and often linked to lifestyle choices such as smoking and obesity, it is also typically inherited through genetics, therefore it’s a disease that is difficult for physicians to prevent or control.
