Microtherapy or minimally invasive medicine opens up a new therapeutic dimension for many medical disciplines with a brilliant perspective. Due to constant technical advancements, more and more clinical pictures can nowadays be treated with micro-therapy. However, this requires interdisciplinary strategies and a new culture of cooperation. The same applies to the development of new materials, methods and tools, as the needs of the users can only be met in close collaboration with industrial partners.

The German Academy of Microtherapy wants to offer a platform for this interdisciplinary dialogue. The main task is the disease-centered teaching of treatment algorithms, in which microtherapeutic interventions are interwoven. Special emphasis is placed on the practical teaching of the necessary skills.
