From the 13th to the 15th of November 2019, the 20th Union Meeting of the Swiss Society of Vascular Diseases, organized by the SGA , will be held together with the Swiss Society for Ultrasound in the Culture and Convention Center KKL in Lucerne Medicine section vessels take place. I am very pleased to invite you on behalf of the Organizing Committee to this event.

The main topic of this year's conference is: "20 Years of the USGG - Interdisciplinarity: still up to date (he)?". In line with the motto, the plenary sessions take place in an interdisciplinary manner and deal with concrete topics from our professional lives. Distributed throughout the conference are workshops on the use of endovascular therapies, symposia and free news on current topics.

This year, too, the congress will be accompanied by a large exhibition, where our industrial partners present their products. There is also a social program in an informal atmosphere and an idyllic and autumnally colorful backdrop on the shores of Lake Lucerne.
