Biography
Dr Steven Dubenec works in Sydney, Australia in both Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH) and The Mater Hospital. He is currently the Head of the Department of Vascular Surgery of RPAH and the Chair of the Division of Vascular Surgery and Medicine of the Mater Hospital.
Dr Dubenec is a member of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, Australian and New Zealand Society for Vascular Surgery and an International Member of the Society for Vascular Surgery.
He has received several awards being the Tow Research Prize in 1999 and the RACS NSW State Committee Merit Award and Medal in 2018.
Dr Dubenec has been and currently is involved as regional Principal Investigator or a co-investigator in national and international trials such as COBEST, GREAT, SHIELD, ENGAGE ,CASPAR, VERNACULAR and CHRYSALIS. He is the Convenor of the RPA Endovascular Symposium.
His interests include minimally invasive therapies for chronic deep venous obstruction, critical lower limb ischaemia and endovascular aortic intervention.
Dr Stephen Dubenec is on the editorial board for Vascular and Endovascular Review Journal.
