Biography

Dr Harold Welch is a vascular surgeon at The Vascular Care Group, Hyannis, MA. He is from Albany, N.Y.1

Academic History

Dr Welch received his undergraduate degree from Tufts University in 1979 and then his MD from Albany Medical College of Union University in 1983. He completed his internship in basic surgery at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Oakland, CA, followed by a residency in Surgery (1984 - 1988) and a fellowship in vascular surgery (1990 - 1992) at Tufts-New England Medical Center in Boston.1

Prior to joining The Vascular Care Group, he worked as a vascular surgeon at Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA for 24 years. Within vascular surgery, Dr Welch’s main focus is on venous disease.
